In 2019 we were booked to play at Caudebec-en-Caux on the banks of the Seine for La Grande Parade, a procession of over 30 of the world's Tall Ships.In Cornwall, we've entertained Tall Ships enthusiasts at the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth, and for several years we played the Falmouth International Shanty Festival.
Nearer home in Brighton we've played for our local fishermen at their 'Blessing of the Nets' festival, and the International Sovereign Seas Festival, Seaford.
Spong has played for a Saturday night 'barn dance' between decks on a sailing ship of the Dutch Merchant Marine in Rotterdam harbour.
Most weekends you'll find us singing, or playing for dancing at home in England, or increasingly in mainland Europe. We've played for festivals and dances in France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Wales. (Spong speaks fluent German and French and is happy to work in those languages)
